HVAC/R Service Technician

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Inspect and perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems
• Perform routine cleaning of HVAC components
• Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Keep accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Certification or license as an HVAC Technician
• Proven experience working with HVAC systems
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for HVAC installation and repair
• Familiarity with Ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
• Ability to build, install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
• Knowledge of boil operations and maintenance procedures is preferred
